CONVENTION NEWS

NFRW CONVENTION September 14-17 Philadelphia, PA
Voting delegates are club presidents or their designated representatives, the AzFRW President and former NFRW Presidents.

Delegates-at-Large and Alternates-at Large to be elected May 20 at the AzFRW Board of Directors meeting in Flagstaff (Any ACTIVE member may run) Number to be elected is determined by total of AzFRW members at the end of the 3rd Quarter July 30, 2017 Each state is entitled to 5 Delegates-at-Large plus 1 for each 500 members or the major fraction thereof.

Club delegates: One delegate for each 10 Active members or major fraction thereof of ACTIVE Members as of July 30, 2017

ACTIVE member in good standing (dues paid) as of July 30, 201
Club president or her accredited alternate.

Members of our clubs who are automatic delegates to the AzFRW convention are Elected state officers; Appointed officers; Chairmen of Standing Committees or their Vice-Chairmen if credentialed as alternates; Past Presidents of the AzFRW; the Arizona National Committeewoman; AzFRW women who serve on the NFRW Board of Directors.

Club President is to send in Alphabetized list of delegates and alternates by Sept. 1. Each delegate and alternate must submit a registration form with full payment.

Deadlines for registration: Early Fee $175 postmarked by Sept. 20; Regular fee $200 by Oct. 10; Final Deadline Oct. 10-18 $225 Conventions are open to all members and invited guests and dignitaries.
Convention registration fee is inclusive of all events: Welcome reception; Friday and Saturday luncheons, President’s Gala Reception, General Session, Workshops, Commemorative 2017 Convention Book with official nametag holder.

Voting for the AzFRW Delegates and Alternates will take place at the June meeting. Those who are interested should submit their names to Judy Lawrence in advance of the meeting. Names will also be accepted from the floor the day of the meeting.
